Ivanhoe Construction Update: Structure Continues to Rise in August

Construction at EPIC Build’s Ivanhoe project continues to progress steadily through August, with structural works advancing through the upper levels while internal works continue across the lower floors. Multiple trades are now active across the site, with visible progress both externally and internally.

Structure continues to rise

The level 2 and level 3 slabs have now been completed, with more than 1,000 cubic metres of concrete poured across these levels. This provides a strong base for the next stages of construction.

The precast installation has also progressed, with approximately 70 columns and 21 panels installed across levels 2 and 3, supporting the building’s continued vertical rise.

Preparations are now underway for the level 4 slab pour as the structure continues to take shape.

Framing and internal works progress

The light gauge steel framing is underway on level 2 east and level 3 west, beginning to define internal apartment layouts and room configurations.

On the ground floor, internal and external wall framing to the east apartments is complete, with wall sheeting now at approximately 30%. The plumbing and electrical rough-ins are also progressing, forming the key services infrastructure ahead of internal linings.

Window installation across the ground floor is approximately 50% complete, while high-level services in apartments and corridors have also been completed.

Coordinated site progress

August reflects strong coordinated progress across all levels, with structural works continuing upward while internal framing, services, and enclosure works advance below.

This staged approach allows multiple trades to work efficiently in sequence as the project moves toward its next milestones.
