Ivanhoe Construction Update: September Works Take Shape
September marks another clear step forward at EPIC Build’s Ivanhoe project, with works progressing across the building envelope and internal areas. As major structural activity gives way to the next stages of construction, several key workstreams are now moving ahead together across the site.
External wall framing is scheduled to be completed across all levels by the end of September, providing the framework required for the building’s external envelope.
Window installation is also expected to reach completion across all levels during the month. Together, these works will further enclose the building and create the conditions for internal trades to continue progressing throughout the development.
Metal roofing is also expected to be installed by the end of September, adding another important component to the building envelope.
While enclosure works continue throughout the building, activity on the ground floor is moving into a more detailed phase.
Sanding and painting to the ground-floor residences is scheduled to commence during September as internal spaces progress towards their finished form. Joinery installation is also expected to begin, bringing another major interior element into place.
Toward the end of September or early October, the tower crane is anticipated to be dismantled. Its removal will mark a notable transition for the site following the period of major structural construction.
With external wall framing, windows, roofing and ground-floor finishes progressing during September, the focus is increasingly shifting towards completing the building envelope and advancing internal works.
For EPIC Build, the month reflects the coordinated delivery required as different areas of the Ivanhoe project move through their respective construction stages. As work continues across the site, the team remains focused on maintaining an organised progression from one phase to the next.
