October has brought further progress to EPIC Build’s Ivanhoe project, with the tower crane now dismantled and metal roofing installed across the building. As external wall works continue, internal construction is advancing across multiple levels, with painting, waterproofing and services moving through different stages of completion.
The removal of the tower crane marks a significant milestone for the Ivanhoe site, reflecting the progress made through the main structural construction stages.
Metal roofing is now fully installed, while external wall panel installation has progressed up to level 3. The remaining external wall works are expected to be completed by the end of October.
Rendering has also commenced on level 2, adding another layer of progress to the building’s external finishes as work continues across the upper levels.
Inside the building, construction activity is progressing across several levels, with each floor moving through its respective stages.
On the ground floor, apartment ceilings are receiving their final coat of paint, while waterproofing has commenced in bathrooms and ensuites. These works are important steps in preparing the apartments for their upcoming internal finishes.
On level 1, stopping and sanding works have been completed, preparing surfaces for painting. Meanwhile, wall sheeting is complete in level 2 apartments, with ceiling sheeting scheduled to follow in the coming week.
Building services are also progressing through the upper floors. Service rough-ins have been completed on level 3, while work on level 4 is scheduled to commence in the following week.
Looking ahead, joinery installation is expected to commence in the ground-floor and level 1 apartments in early November, bringing another important element of the internal fit-out into place.
With roofing complete, external wall works advancing and multiple internal trades working across the building, October reflects the continued transition from major structural construction towards detailed finishing works.
EPIC Build continues to coordinate these activities across the Ivanhoe site, maintaining a steady progression of work as the development moves through its next construction stages.
