Construction at the Burwood Highway project is progressing well, with the basement and ground floor slabs now complete. These works have established a strong foundation and allowed the building to begin rising above ground level.
The precast panel installation is continuing across the basement and ground floor levels. These panels are forming key structural and architectural elements of the building. Plumbing, electrical and fire services are also being installed within the concrete slabs.
The next stage of works includes the level 1 slab pour, followed by construction of the stairs between levels 1 and 2. These elements will provide important access as the structure continues to rise.
The precast installation will then continue on level 1, before the team progresses to forming the level 2 slab. This will include reinforcement steel and post-tensioning works ahead of the concrete pour, which is planned for later this month, subject to site conditions.
With the basement and ground floor complete, the project is now clearly emerging above ground. Over the coming weeks, a steady sequence of slab pours, stair construction and precast installation will continue to shape the building.
Each stage brings the project closer to its final form, reflecting the coordinated effort of the EPIC Build team. Further updates will be shared as construction progresses through the next levels.
